Purple Iris

Iris is the Greek goddess of the rainbow. She is confident, radiant, and absolutely entrancing. This is quite the dedication for the eponymously titled flower. It also happens to be a favorite of painter Vincent Van Gogh as he has done many paintings featuring the remarkable flower. As though the beautiful hue and appearance of the plant weren’t enough, the smell is a pleasure beyond what words can express. At times starchy and at other times powdery, iris is an ingredient capable of transforming and exalting any fragrance in which it’s included. For Purple Iris, we made sure to locate the best quality iris we could get our hands on. The search took some time, but we could not be more satisfied with the end result. Violet complements the iris in the most organically delightful way. Creamy sandalwood enhances the starchy sweetness of the iris, and powdery notes in the base only add to the authenticity of the ingredient and perfume as a whole. Iris lovers might as well be standing in the middle of a field of irises when they experience this beautiful creation for the first time!
