The dry down of sea salt accord is bright and cool, yet still briny with green and iodine undertones. Notes: Drink From The Waves has been years in the making. This originally started off inspired by the Divine Cities trilogy by Robert Bennett Jackson - specifically the character Sigrud and his arc in the book City of Miracles . This was shelved for a few years (after months of tweaking and reformulating) as a future project. At the beginning of 2023, I went through some socially isolating issues, and the inspiration for this came back to me. I spent several months building the separate accords, and then several months balancing and adjusting the accords. Even though the accords are standard summery ideas - fruit, florals and the ocean - I hope I managed to make them a little more profound, perhaps even lonely.
