Radical Rose

The melodious song of the birds; the water of a fountain flowing gently; the morning dew delicately deposited on each button. Then the perfume that emanates. Every morning, in Grasse, Matiere Premiere's centifolia roses are harvested according to a family and regional know-how. Celebrating in each of his creations a particular material, Aurélien Guichard, from a family of noses for 7 generations, revisits it to highlight or hide some of its facets. Here, the rose appears as an obvious choice. But in the end, it surprises us with its infinite character. Its notes dazzle at the top, where bay pepper and saffron illuminate the scent of the queen of flowers. Then, like a chiaroscuro, patchouli, vanilla and cistus labdanum bewitch and reveal its darker aspect. The most intense concentration of centifolia rose absolute in the world for an extreme, unconditional, fanatical overdose.
