Cavatina

For her eleventh Parfums Dusita creation, the perfumer wanted to compose a fragrant hymn to human compassion, conducted with the spirit of “joie de vivre”. Taking inspiration from her father’s poetry, she conceived a fragrance that aims to celebrate joy, as well as humankind’s limitless capacity for love and kindness. Furthermore, Cavatina bridges the French classic perfume heritage with traditional Siamese aromatic treasures. The creation of Cavatina was guided by her love for vintage muguet- centered fragrances. She constructed my own lily of the valley note, as well as a new floral accord (Jasmine, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang and Tea Rose) accented with luminous Aldehydes, completing the composition with warm Heliotrope, sensual Vanilla and aromatic Siamese Woods. Cavatina is a fragrance that is at once current and timeless, one that is meant to enhance the wearer’s innate sophistication.
