Labdanum Absolute

Our labdanum absolute smells of sweet amber with a hint of incense. Labdanum is the essential for creating amber accords. Used extensively in perfumery, labdanum is sometimes referred to as "amber" as its aroma resembles ambergris. Labdanum is a workhorse material used by most perfumers to add longevity to fragrances as well as the luscious scent of balsamic amber. We recommend adding labdanum to benzoin with a bit of vanilla for the quintessential "amber" aroma. Labdanum absolute diluted to 50% in organic ethanol for ease of use. 7.5 ml housed in a 10 ml vial 1/4 ounce.
