Benzoin Absolute

It's becoming harder and harder to find a high quality benzoin with no off rubbery aroma. When we stumbled on this amazing benzoin absolute we knew we needed to purchase it immediately and in bulk. This benzoin absolute smells sweet, soft and vanilla like. It is used extensively in perfumery and is an excellent inexpensive fixative. In fact, benzoin can be added to any fragrance formulation to increase longevity. Benzoin is necessary ingredient for creating an amber accord and is often blended with labdanum and vanilla for effect. In its natural state, benzoin (styrax tonkinesis)is a solid resin that looks like amber colored rocks and must be diluted for perfumery use. Here we've diluted the solid resin in organic perfumers alcohol for ease of use. Benzoin is a classic workhorse material used by most perfumers to add longevity to fragrances as well as the luscious scent of amber. Benzoin absolute diluted to 50% in organic ethanol for ease of use. 7.5 ml housed in a 10 ml vial 1/4 ounce.
