Salmiakki

A distinctive and divisive Finnish gourmand, evoking the salty sensation of traditional SALMIAKKI. Liquorice root sprinkled with salmiak salt, black pepper and green anise for brightness. Immortelle and myrrh are included for their bitter-sweet characteristics, with cade, birch and rectified cedarwood for smoky intensity. The formula is a further study of the salted licorice theme first explored in Fume (Demo Accords), and an homage to the perfumer’s Finnish roots. LAB EDITIONS are made in small batches, hand-filled in our Buckinghamshire studio.
