Mooncakes are eaten to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which takes place in the 8th month of the lunar calendar. The full moon symbolizes a time of reunion, where friends & family gather together for celebration. Our Limited Edition bottle features hand-drawn art celebrating the Jade Rabbit legend. Our mooncake fragrance is inspired by a few of our favorite flavors - red bean, lotus paste, and five nuts! Starting with a whiff of red bean paste & sesame seeds for a nutty aroma. Followed by the sweet scent of glistening pastry crust, freshly baked from the oven. The subtle earthiness of walnut & lotus seed add a comforting fragrance. The top note of rock sugar is lightly sweet, but darkens to a base note of golden syrup. Mooncakes are traditionally made with "golden syrup," a thick sugar syrup with a buttery caramel flavor. Our family usually drinks tea with this dessert, so we've chosen a chrysanthemum scent for a light floral twist on tea & mooncakes. top notes sesame, red bean, rock sugar middle notes pastry crust, chrysanthemum, lotus seed base notes golden syrup, walnut Scent Strength
