Rose Fantôme

Porcelain roses crown marble archways, flanked by silent sentinels with stone wings and hollow eyes. An epitaph of love left at the foot of the fluttering veil, LVNEA’s Rose Fantôme is an ode to the intricately-adorned monuments erected across the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris, France, and the delicately discarded offerings left for the departed. Notes of: sun-dried hay and wild grasses, porcelain rose accord, rosewood, and immortelle; delicate tokens left and forgotten amidst towering effigies, rich upturned soil, and overgrown moss. An agrestic rose fragrance. Rose Fantôme breathes not the fresh, dewy rose in bloom, but the one that has been cut and left to dry and wither with the passage of time. Now one with its surroundings, it blends with the cold, still scent of surrounding stone, drying grass, and sprawls of lichen; a spectral sentinel in the form of soft petal and prickling thorn.
