Pure Cupressus sempervirens absolute. Cypress absolute is extracted from the leaves of Cupressus sempervirens , the Mediterranean cypress (also known as Italian cypress, Tuscan cypress, or Persian cypress), a species of cypress native to the eastern Mediterranean region. Cypress absolute has a g reen, resinous, ambery odour with a balsamic undertone and a light smoke, tobacco drydown. It is a multifaceted and tenacious fragrance appreciated by natural perfumers, and is traditionally used in perfumery and for its uplifting, energizing properties.
