Perfumer's notes .... If I have done my job here with Antique Tonka, a feeling of strength and comfort will be evoked. Commonly, fougere compositions lean heavily into herbs, spices, and intense woods, giving sharper, more confrontational edges to the profile. For this perfume I really wanted to lean into the harmony of tonka's hay facet, with a gentler hand on the accompanying notes. With timeless tonka being the centerpiece, a grounded, loyal, and resonant character is allowed to prevail. My in house tonka and vanilla bean extracts are here in the base.
