Siam Benzoin Resin

Siam Benzoin(Styrax benzoin) is an exudate of a tropical Asian tree. This raw tree gum/resin can be used in aromatic tinctures, potpourris, incense blends, sachets, and infusions. It is a good fixative, meaning it absorbs and extends other scents, and the scent is warm and sweet like a resinous vanilla. When burned on charcoal as incense, a little goes a long way. It can be overpowering so we suggest blending small pieces with other aromatic herbs, woods, and resins for the best incense.
