Lapsang - Accord

Lapsang Souchong is the darkest black tea-- a cult favorite, the drying process involves burning conifer branches below the tea leaves, imprinting them with the aromatic woodsmoke. This accord is like a brewed kettle with a touch of honey. Our Accord Extraits are at a high concentration (30-60%) so that they can be worn sparingly or used to layer lightly into any other scent. An accord is a singular recognizable essence, even if many different materials go into making it. This allows the perfumer to create essences that cannot be naturally derived otherwise, as well as enhance a specific material to bring out its fullest potential. Accords are not formulated based on complexity or evolution, but instead they focus on specific scent memories. 3mL or 12mL with tap applicator
