The magic starts with that Bergamot-Grapefruit slash. Not some polite citrus, it's the zing of stealing oranges from a sleeping king's orchard. Orange Blossom drips like stolen perfume dabbed behind ears before fleeing the scene. Cardamom and Pink Pepper are your accomplices, leaving spicy fingerprints everywhere, while Elemi Resin smokes like a hastily extinguished lantern. Patchouli is the damp earth under your boots, Oak Moss the lichen clinging to your sleeves, and Vetiver the snapped twigs that might give you away. Cedar and carrot seed lurk in the shadows, the first like a smuggler's cigar box, the second like upturned soil where something strange was buried.
